Dr. hab. Bogdan Włodarczyk, Professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury, is a University of Gdańsk graduate. He boasts over 20 years of professional experience in capital markets and banking. He initiated his career in the financial sector in 1993 at PKO BP's Brokerage House, where he obtained his Securities Broker license number 1134, followed by an investment advisory course at Top Consulting Ltd in 1995.
From 1997 to 1999, he served as the Branch Director at Pocztowy Bank, overseeing corporate and strategic client services. Between 1999 and 2003, he directed the PKO BP Central Branch in Elbląg. Continuing his career trajectory at PKO BP S.A., he was the Regional Director at the Regional Corporate Branch in Olsztyn until April 2013, then led the North-Eastern Macroregion as the Macroregion Director at PKO BP S.A. until 2015. He was also the Director at the Regional Corporate Center of PKO BP S.A. from 2015 to 2016.
Since September 2023, he has been managing the University Clinical Hospital in Olsztyn.
He earned his Doctorate in Economics from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and his habilitation degree in 2019 at the University of Economics in Wrocław. For many years, he has been engaged in educational activities as a lecturer in finance and as a leader of higher education institutions with an economic and banking profile. Since 2019, he has been the Head of the Finance Department at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, UWM in Olsztyn. He is an author of numerous scientific and popular science publications in the fields of economics and finance.
